  15. This disk is a double-sided disk. All
  16. of the programs that will run under
  17. ProDOS are on the ProDOS formatted
  18. front side of the disk, and all that
  19. will run under DOS 3.3 are on the back
  20. side of the disk. Some programs will
  21. run under both operating systems and
  22. are included on both sides of this
  23. disk.

  25. You're currently using the ProDOS side
  26. of the disk.

  28. Before using the programs on this disk,
  29. you should make a work disk for each
  30. program. This can be done by first
  31. making a complete copy of the disk with
  32. one of the following programs:
  33.  
  34. * COPYA (DOS 3.3 System Master)
  35. * FILER (ProDOS Utilities Disk)
  36. * The Apple IIc or Apple IIGS
  37.   Utilities Disk
  38. * Any Disk Copy Program
  39.  
  40. Then boot the copied disk and delete
  41. all of the files that are not related
  42. to the program by using the DELETE
  43. command. The System Utilities program
  44. also has an option to DELETE files.

  47. The screen displays that follow show
  48. the files needed to create working
  49. copies of each program.

  51. To create a work disk for ProFinder
  52. remove all but the following
  53. files from a copy of this disk:

  55. PROFINDER
  56. PROFINDER.INST
  57. PROF.REST.BIN
  58. PROFINDER.REST
  59.  
  60. These programs are included only on the
  61. ProDOS side of this disk.

  63. To create a work disk for AMPERSOUND.GS
  64. remove all but the following
  65. files from a copy of this disk:

  67. AMPERSOUND.GS
  68. PIANO
  69. FREQUENCY.TABLE
  70. NOTE.TRANSLATOR
  71. BLUE.DANUBE
  72.  
  73. These programs are included on the
  74. ProDOS and DOS 3.3 sides of this disk.
  75. The BLUE.DANUBE file is not mentioned
  76. in the instructions; it is another
  77. example of how to use the program.
  78.  When you select AMPERSOUND GS from the
  79. program menu, the NOTE.TRANSLATOR
  80. program will be run. PIANO runs only
  81. under ProDOS.

  83. To create a work disk for VARIABLE
  84. VIEWER, remove all but the
  85. following files from a copy of this
  86. disk:

  91. This program is included on the
  92. ProDOS and DOS 3.3 sides of the disk.
  93. It is not included as an option in the
  94. program menu because it requires
  95. special instructions. See the

  99. CHECKIT program on this disk. CHECKIT
  100. is a utility published in every issue
  101. of Nibble that aids in typing in
  102. programs from the magazine. See
  103. "Welcome to Nibble" in the latest issue

  108. assembly language programs have been
  109. included on this side of the disk.
  110. These files are included expressly for
  111. experienced programmers.  These files
  112. cannot be used unless you own the
